James is a member of the Clinical Team at Ufonia where he is particularly interested in using data-driven approaches to aid the design, implementation, and evaluation of Dora.
James trained as a doctor in the UK but also has a licence to practise in Japan where he worked as a GP and academic for 8 years. He has an MSc from University of Edinburgh where he worked on developing and evaluating virtual patients to help train future clinicians. He has a long-standing passion for AI and is finishing his PhD at University on Oxford where he uses statistical and epidemiological approaches to develop analysis pipelines for large datasets and clinical trials.
Outside of work, James is a keen climber, hiker, skier, and badminton player. He loves challenges and is always keen to develop new skills.
