Mariane leads Ufonia’s clinical trials and regulatory strategy, ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and advancing Dora through robust clinical evidence. She is a practising NHS medical doctor with a background in internal medicine and emergency medicine and has extensive experience in healthtech innovation.
Before joining Ufonia, Mariane co-founded DemDx, a clinical decision support system startup, where she successfully led the development and validation of an AI-driven triage system in collaboration with Moorfields Eye Hospital. Her contributions to digital health earned her recognition as one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 in Science and Healthcare in 2021, and she is also part of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme.Mariane’s passion lies at the intersection of technology and healthcare, and she is dedicated to leveraging her expertise to improve patient care and outcomes. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, walking in the park with the dogs, learning German, and bootcamp workouts.
